Marshmallow Maddness
For Christmas I decided I would make marshmallows from my favorite blog skinnytaste. When I first found her blog I was excited because the recipes look so yummy but then I realized my husband would probably not eat any thing I told him was healthy. So the first dish I tried was her meatballs. They were almost a hit but I didn't chop the spinach small enough and it was a bit stringy. So then I tried her chicken parm. My husband loved it! So I was excited to try more. This time I tried her marshmallows. They were really good too! I decided I would give some to my inlaws and also some to my parents. I used a snowflake shaped cookie cutter and cut them out and put them in a nice tin and gave them for Christmas. The only problem I found was that I had some odd shaped marshmallows still in the pan. So I decided to make Homemade Rice Krispy Treats!
They are AWESOME!
I used the Marshmallows from the recipe above and I used our homemade butter. These Treats are the best I have ever had!
Ok... enough talk about them lets go eat!

The Beginning
Well this is my first post! This blog will be a lot about DIY projects I have done and will do and also about recipes my family enjoys and anything else I might find interesting to share. I enjoy making things both in the kitchen and in the craft room. I hope you will feel welcome and free to leave comments and questions for me to answer. Thanks for stopping by! Welcome to my blog!
